Despite some awful weather on Friday, 8 brave souls made the trip to Sharon Gun Club for an advanced IPSC skills course. Because of the weather we didn't manage to get as much shooting in as I would have liked, but we got in some good drills and all of the attendees showed great improvement particularily with movement in and out of positions. The drills, while simple, allow shooters to deal with most situations encountered at IPSC matches. We did a couple of dry fire drills, dot drills, accuracy drill on a popper at 50m, entering and exiting boxes, shooting on the move and lots of other skills were described and demonstrated (due to weather)

All the shooters seemed to enjoy themselves and took home lots of new information which will hopefully help them at future matches

Remember guys, all that stuff works ONLY IF YOU PRACTICE!
