Tried some loads out yesterday. 44.0 gr of Varget and 44.3 gr of Varget. Both loads with Remington once fired brass, Federal 210m primers, and Sierra 175gr MK. (Obviously I worked up to this load and so should you if you wish to duplicate)
All groups with both loads were around .7 to .8 of an inch and all were loaded on my Dillon 550. I'll post some pictures in the gallery once my hispeed gets back up and running. I also shot some 168 gr Winchester .308 Match loads. They shot fairly well, though I did toss a couple of fliers. My worst group with these was around 1.4" with the two fliers removed, the other three rounds were touching. The wind that was gusting from 5kmh to as strong as 25 kmh I. I waited for the flag to drop on pretty much every shot.
The rifle was my stock, unmodified Remington 700PSS .308, 24" barrel with Bushnell 6500 2.5-16X42 on EGW Rings and base (20MOA)
